Robert Oliver was part of a depraved gang in the 1980's that is suspected of the death of up to 9 boys. The gang lead by Sydney Cook also known as Oliver's gay lover drugged the children before subjecting them to brutal assaults. Cook set up his own fun fair stalls at fairgrounds to lure his unsuspecting victims and trap them into under age orgies. from their filthy den in Hackney the gang hired under aged male prositutes or snatched children off the streets to torture them sexually. There victims included tragic Jason Swift who was found strangled in a shallow grave. Robert Oliver has now served 10 years of a 15 year sentence for his part in the gang rape of 14 year old Jason Swift. At the end of 2006 Robert Oliver was driven out of his home in Somerset and relocated to Tonbridge Road, Maidstone without public knowledge.
