My name is Amber Lang and I live in the village of lowdham. I have started this petition to help keep the children of lowdham safe weather it be your child or grandchild or even great grandchild. I'm doing this petition to make you all aware. Paul Hickling is back living in lowdham and was charged because he had 9,222 indecent images of children ranging from category C to category A. He had 18 extreme pornographic images and 88 prohibited images at his home. He was sentenced but has recently been let out of prison on probation under the watchful eye of the police and his probation officer. While this is all well and good they cannot promise us he will not offend again and being placed in lowdham a small village full of children schools and nurseries I feel he has been set up to fail. He is in close proximity of a lot of children at least 1 out of 2 houses on barker hill has children. I am doing this for our children's safety and for him to help him not reoffend. I'm am hoping councillor Roger Jackson will beck us all up on this.
My aim with this petition is not for people to get aggressive and angry or even worried or upset. My goal is to try and get Paul rehomed somewhere safer where there won't be children playing in gardens or schools in close proximity of his residence maybe a town centre, I know there will still be children but FULLY clothed not out in there gardens wearing their swimsuits .
I know this is a worrying subject I understand he is living a few doors up from me and has a direct veiw into my children's room and a full view of my garden and lots of other people's houses too.

The petition reached one hundred signatures today. I am drafting a formal letter to Councillor Roger Jackson to outline the concerns regarding the current placement of the individual mentioned. I expect to arrange a meeting with his office to discuss potential relocation options.

I don't believe in vigilantes, as it can be very dangerous, but this guy is obviously going to be a target and needs to be moved not only for his safet, but for the children and the families around him.
I don’t agree that it is deemed ok by the judicial system to house a peadophile among a high volume of children for his safety. What about the safety of the children? That should be paramount
He's been set up to fail, and this isn't fair on anyone concermed. It baffles me as to why they have released him with his residential address being here. Lack of foresight on the cps and judicial services part.
Placing him in an area he knows and with such a high ratio of children, schools and nursery services, with half term starting tomorrow, I personally feel this is wrong. He needs help and the children need protecting.
I went to school with Paul and he has always been a very quiet lad and feel for him as it's not nice having mental health problems. I agree what he did is wrong and it's not fair on the families of lowdham to have that concern for their children but also him as it's like putting a diabetic child in a sweet shop. He would be better suited some where where there are less exposed children for the time being. But this is my opinion and everybody is entitled to their own. I hope the children are safe and I hope Paul has a full recovery to.

I have a disabled granddaughter and my back garden is not accessible for her so she has to play on the front, and this summer I wouldn’t let her out because of this man which is not fair on her, I have put my views to the council to get my garden accessible but they are not interested
