This is already a bad strip of road because there is no place for the pedestrians to walk safely on the pavements. Children and woman can’t walk on that pavement without getting harassed by taxi drivers and vagrants

I have witnessed urinating publicly along the walls, fighting, drug abuse and handing of drugs, filth and litter, noise, stabbing a while ago where the person died, robbery and hinderence to traffic passing by (ie: risk of accidents and people getting knocked over).

My dad was wiped out by a taxi driver parked at this rank. He forcefully and recklessly hit him off his bike and reversed twice to do harm. He crushed his leg and due to complications, my beloved dad passed away in July.

I don’t understand why we need to petition you to do something about this. Why isn’t the city and law enforcement doing their jobs? Enforce existing legislation. No exceptions. We pay our rates and taxes. Do your job!

I have watched over the last few years as this area has taken a hit from crime, vagrancy, and trouble as a direct result of this taxi rank and what vagrants see as their customer base, free to sell stolen and found items along boundary walls of homes. Enough!

Resident of Sunningdale. I live about a block away from the rank and illegal traders. The crime rate has increased and the cleanliness of our area has decreased as the taxi rank and illegal traders have increased. This is both a health and safety issue. They need to be removed.

The taxi rank should be removed, it comprises safety of residents and encourages vagrants to set up near the taxi rank and trade illegally.

If the council will not remove these invaders I suggest we all make a donation to one of the folks living higher up and invest in a borehole and just keep that whole area flooded 24/7
