We, the undersigned would like to bring to your attention our views concerning the north stairwell gate in Parks Hall.

On a daily basis, the north stairwell gate inhibits the flow of pedestrian traffic and is an annoyance to students and staff alike. The use of a gate seems unwarranted since there is no gate in the south stairwell of Parks Hall.

We, individuals frequenting Parks Hall at Western Washington University, insist upon the removal of the stairwell gate separating the ground and basement floors.
