Removal of Corrupt NY Family Court Judge Nilda Morales-Horowitz

This judge seems to specialize in destroying families by giving the child to the abuser. She terrorizes the protective parent and seems to enjoy seeing them panic as she puts their children’s lives in jeopardy. My younger daughter finally had the nerve to speak out to police at the age of 16, but even after four years of intense ongoing therapy she will never be the same. Oh and this judge screams at the protective parent in the courtroom, which is beyond unprofessional. Her behavior is egregious. I speak for myself and several others who are too fearful of her to put their name on this petition.

Her name seems to pop up among friends as someone who is biased and unable to perform as a fair judge. I was looking up information about her because of her bad behavior in a case of family court and low and behold there is a petition against her that validates this. As a tax payer in Westchester I am very disturbed by this judge still holding a position that is sponsored by me when she should be removed.

Pure evil. almost destroyed my life and my daughters.

Unfortunately I have personally heard the painful stories about being degraded by this Judge from women in my Domestic Violence Awareness sessions. Why are their complaints not being heard by decision makers.

Nilda is as corrupt as they come. I don’t want to get too specific about what she did to my son, however I feel it’s my duty as a parent to spread the word about how evil she is & about how many family’s she’s negatively affected, often giving the abusive parent custody or rights to said child/children, or completely stripping away rights from the safe & loving parent, just to get a kick out of destroying parents & children’s lives. I went to court looking for help for my son, to keep him away from his father for very good reasons, major safety reasons & she didn’t care that he had a CPS case against him, didn’t care about his criminal & drug addict record, didn’t care that he was arrested for strangling me in front of our son, she laughed at me as I cried in court & mocked my attorney in front of everyone. It’s beyond my comprehension why people keep her employed as a “judge” & I want to be a part of getting her disbarred. I want to speak to other parents who have shared similar experiences as I have. My son is older now but still under age & is still forced to be in an environment that causes him depression, anxiety & fear. I thank God my son still gets to live with me, & I pray for the parents that are fighting to get their kids back & their rights back. I stand w/ you all & together we are powerful. Worst judge. Does not care for victims of abuse. Should be removed from the bench. She has already been censured for giving favorable rulings to friends.

Horrible experience, not looking forward to going before her again. She is against victims of abuse and should either be removed from her position (I am a tax payer in westchester county) or sent for sensitivity training. She should not be allowed to deal with family matters.

She let my ex move my daughter from Rye N.Y. to Newark no. From top 10% of schools in ny to bottom 10% in nj - my daughter is moving to the west wards fairmount district. This woman does not listen, nor does she care about your rights or those of your children. She’s burned out and argumentative, you can’t get a common sense result. She is callous and neglectful to a criminal degree in my opinion

She need to be immediately removed from the bench. I have personal testimonials of her incompetence of family Court law. Remove immediately! -before additional families are torn apart by this dope head.

This judge continues to abuse her power. she awarded five days a week visitation with an average of just over 4 hours a day to my exwife. Oh, and the visits are supervised and i have to field the cost of the supervisor??!! so, judge.. if i go to work for eight hours and then, give the kids to my exwife for an average of 4 hours after work, when exactly do I get to spend time with them? (i am the one that supposedly has custody but this order removes them from me just about every day - except for when they are sleeping)

This woman has not helped my mom nor my sisters, they are trapped in NY with a man who doesn't care about his children and far away from relatives.
