It would be fitting to have a corner on the track named ‘Redfern Corner’ in memory of the great man.

The naming of a corner at Croft Circuit after the late Ken Redfern is long overdue. He attracted fans from all over the country to Croft and regularly elevated the lap records. It is time Ken’s many achievements were recognised permanently at His local circuit. Please make this so.

We watched him regularly at Croft we live 10 miles away,
and also Cadwell and were at Mallory Park in 1969. All around us people were wondering why we were so excited when he came second to AGO. Lets hope he gets recognition at last.

Wouldn’t it be a smashing thing for Croft Circuit to honour Ken by naming part of the circuit after him. Here’s hoping you can look favourably upon this request. Yours in sport . Steve

Watching Ken and Mick grant go at it round Croft just made most riders want to emulate Ken and his winning ways and classic style. i set out to race on a similar Norton Atlas's framed Commando bike I built abably assisted by others. Never got a win on that t Croft, PB of a 3rd once behind Stew Hodgson and Kev Riley. Remember Kan as Mr Smooth and fast, was at Mallory watching him finish in P2 to Ago. Over the years I became friends with all the guys from Redfern racing, and still friendly with Mike, albeit he is in Spain and I am in Texas. It would be great to have a corner or corners named after him, if anyone deserves that in Kens memory its the whole Redfern Clan.

Think he should have his name on a corner at CROFT. It's where it all started.
