Please re-light the climax cross! Born and raised in Leadville, it would be a shame to no longer see that cross! I know it's reminded me numerous times in white outs, that someone is watching over me!

Three members of my family have worked at Climax. That cross is not only a symbol for the season, and God, but also for the safety of all who have worked and continue to work at this mine! Please relight it!

It's about Respect, Leadville/Climax lit the cross and the blue star as a sign of respect for Miners who lost their lives while working at Climax and for Miners who used to work at Climax. Please Honor those workers by Relighting the Cross.
