Please consider lighting up the Cross for all those who want it there, to be a beacon on a blinding snowstorm night, to feel a 'safe' presence in their hearts.

If climax is part of the community they will turn the lights of the Cross back on. Are they a corporation that is just part of the problem catering to that part of the population that is 10% liberal.

I have lived in Leadville for 26 years and always look forward to seeing the cross lit up. It has Christian implications for me but it may mean different things to others. I'm not sure why some people don't want this but it is not right for the minority to rule. Those who might be offended by the cross's presence need to consider that there are many other people who are not offended by it's presence. I will pray for those who are offended because I realize they don't understand the significance of the cross.

Relight the cross. I can not believe that the voice of a small minority has such a huge influence on this.

That cross has been an iconic symbol for me and my family for many years. Removing it because it has a religious aspect to it is ridiculous. Maybe we should talk to the Leadville County commissioners and get some of the beautiful church steeples removed in the town of Leadville as well. It's history, it's beautiful, and I would highly doubt that most of the minors working there mind having it there as they risk there lives and miss there families.
