What is this world coming to when a cross that's been around for 90 yrs is shut off then the world is going down hill for sure and the bad part is there is really nothing we can do about it, sad to say this but even if we do get all 1000 signatures are we going to be able to save the cross from being shut off or being taken down? No probably not because its the corporates decision to do so and we are very small accutually minut in their eyes they wont blink an eye or ask or take up a poll to see how we feel about it or have a vote on the subject it doesn't really matter how we the people feel or even if we beg or pled with them, even if our fathers,mothers ,daughters,sons or any other member of society or for that matter race, religion or I'm sure even if the pope asked them to leave it on they would just say NO and do you know why? CAUSE THEY CAN!!!!

So here's the thing that I don't get 1. The light has been there for 90 yrs 2. It isn't bother the people that have been in Leadville for ever. 3. Its a beacon and 4, what is the problem with just leaving it alone. All these things are good, right? Then why in the entire universe does it make sense to turn it off? If those people don't like it, then guess what just look away when you pass by it!!!! DUH!!!!

The cross has more significance than just religious ones it is a beacon of love, faith and peace also a light on stormy nights. Please reconsider and leave it on.
