This is complete BS they were just having fun like kids do. Teach them not make them criminals put them in time out if you think it was such a bad thing. That's it

I can understand teaching kids that there are repercussions for their negative behavior but legal action is completely unnecessary.

Punishment sounds like it went way beyond the prank.

This is absolutely silly to be charging these kids for such a small act... they were trying to have fun!

Let kids have fun and enjoy their senior year. As long as no one was hurt and no one felt threatened, let them look forward to doing crazy goofy things for their last days of high school instead of scare them into thinking you have to be robotically perfect all the time. Let them live!

This is beyond petty. These kids were simply trying to celebrate their accomplishments. They graduated high school for crying out loud! Instead of arresting and condemning them you should have embraced and joined in with them. School wide water balloon fight out in the grass would have made such great memories. Now these kids can't wait to get away from this town Im sure. Way to ruin what SHOULD have been a great memory to end their high school career. Just another example of the people in power in Minot trying to keep the rest of us citizens under their control.

Wow here we are talking about water balloons and our youth having to deal with the law. What are we doing here. These kids are our future and I guarantee you there is worse things going on apart from these kids throwing water balloons. Please people who are pressing charges get a life and support these kids.

Suspension is understandable but these charges are unwarranted. The punishment does not fit the crime. As a student of Magic City Campus, I have seen drug deals on school grounds, tobacco products be used on school propert, destruction of student property by other students, and the administration has done little against these acts if anything. There are bigger concerns for the school than water balloons being thrown that the administration has failed to address miserably. This reeks of nothing but moral hypocrisy as they claim that they are arresting my fellow peers for throwing water balloons to create a better school environment but do nothing about recurring issues that are actual problems in the school environment. My best regards go to my fellow peers who are being arrested for a harmless act.

Law inforcememt has more important crimes to be stopping and this incident was taken to an extreme punishment that was unnecessary.
