This has to be the most ridiculous thing that has happened at this school. The prank was harmless and was planned for senior prank day, the same day that seniors do pranks every year. I don't know these boys but they should not face charges that will be on their records forever simply for throwing water balloons at school.

I bet if you ask MCC Alumni, or Alumni for any high school, on some of the prank they pulled, those pranks would not be in comparison to this. Would a food fight in the lunch room been worse or a better prank? I think the Sawyer principal took it to a new level & a great sense of humor. Those that have done this will be expelled starting the day after graduation for the rest of their life.! This High School employee has a great way of looking at the prank. I understand that the h20 is a water hazard on the tiled floor, but that can be wiped up fast but students &/or other high school employees. Having the students arrested during the last couple days of school, think how that will affect their record now & later in life. I hope the court system throws this out!

It was only four water balloons, no one was injured, and the pictures making fun of SRO Sandusky are our rights under the 1st Amendment. To take away that would to try and take away our freedom to express ourselves, which would cause far greater retaliation.

This charges are completely ludacris. Good grief it's water balloons not a semi automatic weapon. I understand being cautious but this is out of hand. The punishment doesn't even fit the crime for goodness sake! You could potentially ruin the future for these 3 boys and all for what? Simple kid behavior. Smh!!

Come on Minot!!!! It wa a senior prank!!! I remember dressing up in animal costumes with my friends, blaring music and dancing on the lunch tables for my senior prank!!! Stop being so offended by everything!!! When did people become such baby's?!!!

I don't understand who could even have it in them to charge kids for something so petty. Who was it that thought it would be reasonable to charge students to give them probably the first criminal charge on their record. They have gone to school their entire lives just to make sure they have a good future and can find and get a good job. If they get this on their record it could hinder their chance at getting jobs in the future. Kids have done senior pranks forever. Harmless water balloons should have been a relief for the administration. I have heard of many pranks that are far worse....this is one of those things that should have been laughed off and forgotten about in a couple days.

I can't believe that this even happened. What's the big deal in my day we were incouraged to have water ballon fights and the teachers filled the balloons. They are kids let them be kids. Your going to take their privaledge to walk on stage and get their diploma for this. Ludicrous!!
