This is silly, the courts even juvenile ones have better things to do than process a waterballon fight in a school. Charges like this bring derision and disrespect down on the legal system in general as well as undermining public trust that the law will be handled with common sense.

I think that jail time is a little harsh for this stunt. They should have to clean up the cafeteria and apologize to whomever they upset. If there was some other disorderly conduct then some community service would be sufficient, but not jail time.

A totally mis-managed response by the school and officer; maybe the first step in the continuum should have been possibly detention... seriously! Formal charges? What a shame!

This escalated unnecessarily. Should have made the students clean it up and serve detention. Since when did schools become unable to handle discipline of students!

Maybe the office workers that buzzed the blue on the front door should be reprimanded but those boys didn't hurt anyone, not did they damage anything. It was water!!!
