The kids should not received criminal charges for a prank. Give them community service, or a punishment that fits the crime. Criminal charges are ridiculous for this situation

This is a little excessive punishments! You need to worry more about the bullying and drugs in our school system. School board-get real or get off of the board!!

The school should handle this in house, not in court. Community service served at the school seems more appropriate than giving these kids records.

Let kids be kids, give them detention instead of wasting resources and tax money for their charges. Absolutely ridiculous!

Maybe the County Commissioners will intervene and get them off? At least no one died!

I can think of a lot worse things to be arrested and possibly going to jail for!

This is the most backwards ignorant way of handling an issue like this I have ever had the misfortune of witnessing.

This is absolutely ridiculous. What happened to detention? Going to jail for a silly senior prank that happens every year... water balloons are the worries of Minot now? Let those innocent kids go. They are just that, kids, kids having innocent fun.

These kids are facing a lifelong criminal record that could affect their ability to find employment, housing, and even travel....over 4 water balloons?

This is not a crime and should not be punished as One.

Overreach- let them be kids. Unbelievable if criminal charges are filed over a few water balloons being thrown
