I have heard and encountered more damaging actions that school kids and college students have done. In comparison, what those three high school kids have done with their water balloons are harmless. I agree with another petitioner who said to handle the matter internally and not involve the police and effectively damage the three student's future. They did not shoot off rounds from a gun or damage toilets with cherry bombs...they threw water balloons!!

Teachers are taking the fun out of high school and making it a place where students don't want to be.
Drop these charges, waste of good tax payers money, what it this state coming to water ballon fight?? Did someone melt???

Criminal charges for 4 water balloons? It seems a distrust of authority is justified in this case. Great lesson for kids.

A ridiculous overreaction that needs to be corrected. Charging these students is not helpful for anyone, and will only serve as a detriment to them and the school system.

This was just a silly senior prank. The cops should have never been involved in this, the school should have handled this internally with another type of punishment. There have been worse things done by senior pranks over the years and there is more pressing matters that our police officers should be putting their time and effort in than a senior prank.

I believe what the three seniors are charged with is outrages and unnecessary to do that and make it to where they can't walk either at graduation is unfair or justified
