The Original theatrical releases are the unaltered theatrical versions of the original trilogy as shown in the theaters in 1977, 1980 and 1983. Please release the original versions of these films for sale to the millions of fans around the world who cherish the original versions of these movies.

I really thought this might just float around in the void but seeing the support grow like this is honestly wild. It turns out I am not the only one who just wants to see those films exactly how they were meant to look back then. Maybe someone at the studio will actually pay attention now since this momentum is becoming impossible to ignore.

Many people, including myself grew up with the original, theatrical version the Star Wars sequel trilogy. So many of us would love to have that version to watch in the years to come, especially as technology deteriorates and becomes outdated. Our old VHS tapes and DVDs can't last forever, so please give us the option to buy these movies as we love them most.
I'm signing this because I want an official full release of the Original Star Wars trilogy. The ultimate box set with the unaltered original versions remastered in HD and the special editions and also bonus disks with all special features and documentaries that have to with the original trilogy.
I would IMMIDIATELY jump at the opportunity to buy the theatrical release the moment it hit the shelves!!!! Fox & Disney WAKE UP! There's lots of money to be made off of us! :D
I want to relive the originals! They were good enough for me to see them 15 times as a kid, and they're certainly good enough for today's youth. I'm too embarrassed to even let my kids see the new version.
Please, for the love of god, release the originals! No Greedo shooting first, slapstick jawas or Toy Story Jabba in SW. Or Hayden "Who the hell is that chump?!?" Christensen at the end of Jedi. The special editions are only "special" inasmuch as they belong on the short bus!! Maybe clean up a few matte lines and adjust the color balance, but just give us the original movies in their original incarnations!!

Please. I really want these released on blu-ray. You have no idea how happy that would make me. I own the original versions and they don't look the best. A blu-ray release would be incredible. Please Disney! Make it happen.

Even though I grew up with the special editions and enjoyed them I also really enjoyed the unaltered trilogy a whole lot as well maybe a bit more than the special editions mainly because they were the ones that I would always watch when I spent the night at my grandparents house on Fridays
