Adam Copay is a 23 year old man who has been held, currently in Thunder Bay, in prison, in solitary confinement, under 24 hour light. I believe that the United Nations regards both of these situation to be torture. He has not been to trial and his basic human rights are being violated. His situation only came to light when a prison guard informed the Ontario Human Rights Commission. Nothing has yet been changed. Torture should not be allowed to happen in Canada. If you agree, please sign my petition. Adam Copay does not deserve this. I also believe that there would be a much bigger outcry against his treatment if he were not of indigenous descent. Thank You!
