Why keep this land grabbing! Stop it by changing the city council for new members? Is it because the city of Douglasville needs more tax $$$ . If so, what are we getting in return? Infrastructure improvements to fix the damaged roads due to increased truck traffic or just fattening the City coffers?

Let's put something on the land that would be beneficial to the neighborhood and the surrounding area. A 200 truck docking station isn't it!

Consider the following items before you decide to act:
1. Would this development be acceptable near your neighborhood?
2. Would the potential introduction of various unknown chemicals as a result of development be a safe haven for you to call home?
3. Would potential crime level increase due to the increase of overnight and daily people traffic/activity be a safe haven for you to call home?
4. How would this affect our kids? We would have to worry about:
a. Their health due to the unknown chemical potential.
b. Their quality of life due to a lack of sleep; direct effect on school.
c. Greater kidnapping potential.
d. Runaway potential due to potential hitchhiking.
5. The entire community will see a greater risk of being late for work and having their kids late for school as a result of the extra traffic.
Would any of this be acceptable to you?

Too much industrial with semis. We have homes & wildlife to protect. Our roads are a mess. Stop the heavy industrial & bring high paying jobs.

Please don't allow an industrial building to be placed in our backyards. As you do, we want to be able to live, work and play SAFELY in our communities. Placing an industrial building in our backyards will indeed impede that goal. Please consider how you would feel if someone was permitted to build an industrial warehouse in your own backyard. We ask that you vote in favor of the citizens in this matter. Thank you.

I strongly oppose the proposed rezoning of a zone that is next to a 500+ family residential area for more than 13 years, it is not correct to prioritize foreign, individual, business interests above a community
