I am graduating this year, but it is completely unreal for students to have to take 7 classes in one day. How could you finnish homework for 7 classes in one night?

Rediculous to inhibit students from progressing out of high school. Already our standards are weakened in high school, now the change will only hold students back. This year there were exponentially more dual enrollment students than years prior... Obviously that is for a reason.

Changing the schedule is dumb. Don't do it. How was it not working in the past? If changing the schedule makes it harder or impossible for the student to be dual-enrolled then that's the biggest reason not to do it. I graduated from CHS last year with 15 college credit hours with dual enrollment and it helped me so much going into college. Taking this opportunity away from students is ridiculous. Kids need some kind of simple routine to balance out their hecktic lives. Adding more stress to this can greatly inhibit learning and growth.

I want to take two classes next year, where one has to be taken in order to be in the next one, I will be unable to do this with skinnies.

I have worked so hard to graduate early, I have 4 classes left of high school to complete and now I have to stay a full year for no reason!

There is no need for over straining work, even more since the last attempt to do this failed in the early 2000 due to protest why would forcing it on kids who struggle with 4 blocks do better with 7 periods? Learning is meant to be paced so it can be absorbed and learned so we can pass our knowledge on not so we can sit in class for 45 minutes so a teacher can get a pay check quicker and kids struggle more I stand for a good education and future for me and my family and will not stand for such things as a blitz version of learning that will never work

How am I supposed to take my DE classes?? I'm a junior and the only classes I planned to take my senior year were math, English, and chorus. Why would you want to change the schedule if it works perfectly how it currently is?? Our test scores have reflected greatly upon our schedule. It works perfectly how it is now. This messes up EVERYONE. Some kids have planned their entire high school based on graduating early so they can go out into the workforce or do what they desire. This is not fair. Start it with the new freshmen, or think of something else. You're messing up the future of so many kids.

Why do you want to take away from students? Classes that matter for life or health. Then you want to talk down to the young people for not making something of there selves.

The same people who all they talk about is how much college and graduation matters, are the same ones who take opportunities such as dual enrollment and CTE away.

You can't get rid of these classes. Students spend all of highschool using these classes to further their career in life and get a jump start so why take that away.

This is absurd to me. I had friends who were IB/AP students who were well versed in rigorous classes and they barely survived 8 periods in a day. This is not meant for everyone and will do away with encouraging kids to pursue things they are good at like CTE skills. Dual Enrollment is SO important, too!
