this is messing really badly with early grads. i'm not staying a full year when i don't have to, when i've already got it planned to graduate early. they need to start this with the freshman so they don't plan everything just to be shut down

The school was doing well under the old schedule, the new change is ultimately an obstructive distraction to learning. Your IB program was reviewed this year and it wasn't stellar, modifying the schedule in this way does not help your case with the IB Organization.

I was a student of Cookeville High. Automotive, a CTE class, was very important to me. It helped me decide my career and gave me knowledge in it. The schedule needs to stay the same for students who enjoy working with their hands.

My daughter's currently a junior at CHS. I am totally against this seventh period schedule. My daughter has worked her butt off in a CTE class the past three years with plans to enter the fourth level of that class next year. This proposal will make this impossible.

Too many people are relying on dual enrollment for college. It's really not smart to remove such an amazing opportunity. It helps make four year universities less of a burden and more of a possibility for some people.

With CTE, specifically engineering, being my career and elective focus the removal of the block schedule will eliminate my ability to progress to the final engineering course which is necessary for the development of my career.

Dual Enrollement is an opportunity for highschoolers to advance while getting college credits in highschool and is one of the single most important eduactional needs for those who can advance and not stay at the level that commoncore wants to keep all at.
