Please bring back the death penalty,innocent people live like prisoners in their own homes,not knowing if they will be alive tomorrow or lose a loved one. South Africa cannot be taken over by criminal elements. Our country is becoming a disgrace.

The reason I sign this is because I also bear the brunt of this brutality my husband was murdered and his killers walk freely in this month I was also asked to have the case closed.... Utterly shattered killers must pay the price for their brutality

Its high time the government considers bringing back the death penalty. The imprisonment of criminals commiting barbaric & heinous crimes is an insult to the taxpayers & law-abiding citizens. Prison is the Sun City for these rejects from Hell.

Criminals do not fear or respect human life or rights nor the law. Courts are too lax in sentencing. Only the death penalty may help. Certain crimes should have mandatory life or death sentence like rape and murder high jacking, armed robbery etc

Please grant acceptance of petition too many violence kids from age 8yrs start acting as gangsters ...kids gr 8 students run stabbing each other on way to school .peddling drugs from young in streets etc please be the change for a better Cape Town..

Persons committing heinous crimes against fellow human beings must pay the price. Any commission of crime renders the accused voiding his/her rights reserved for law abiding citizens. The government needs to be decisive in curbing criminal activities.

If someone murders another person, they take away that person's constitutional right to life. It seems only fair that, by committing such an act, they forfeit their own right to life as well. Many criminals appear undeterred because they know the punishment is often less severe than the crime they committed.
