First Bus are stopping the UWE bus outside of the university terms.
This will have a huge impact on those who work and study at UWE, as staff and students are still on campus throughout the summer.
This is also the only service available for residents of Harry Stoke and some of Hambrook within a 15 minute walk, that takes commuters into Bristol. This leaves many without vital transport links, particularly over the summer.
No consideration has been given to these staff, students and local residents who will have no choice but to drive to work for at least 5 months each year.
This is a crucial link to Bristol Business Park, as well as the University. Removing this bus more than doubles my commute time. A reduced (and dependable) service would surely be more sensible!
