Reinstate the UWE bus service out of term time

I live in Stoke Park and this is the service I use to get to work in the city centre each day. If it is to be cancelled out of term times this should at least be postponed until the MetroBus service is up and running.

Very timely - also many students stay over during the vacs.

Please retain this useful service all year round! It is used by people other than students.

Also the only viable transport to the business park. Bring back the bus!

Please provide at least a reduced service for the commuters over the summer period. For example, 3-4 buses in the morning, and 3-4 buses in the evening with 30min intervals. By stopping this service at a very short notice you are increasing the traffic congestion in the whole city as people have to find alternative modes of transport, as well as damaging the perception about the reliability of the public transport as a whole, which will in turn reduce your profits overall. Suggesting an option which takes 2-3 times longer than the UWE service is not a suitable alternative. Thank you.

This is a crucial link to Bristol Business Park, as well as the University. Removing this bus more than doubles my commute time. A reduced (and dependable) service would surely be more sensible!

Inatead of 15 to 20 mins it takes me about 40 mins on the 70/71 and then an hour to get back afterwards.

Please get this bus back on for students and staff!! I am a lecturer; work does not stop when term ends, and I have been late too many times looking for bus stops and waiting for busses that don't turn up.

I study and work at UWE over the summer. Withdrawal of this bus has been really inconvenient

Surely a reduced service is appropriate, even hourly. Please!

FirstBus, please consider that even though you are a private company with a profit motive, the service you are providing is still called "public transport" and received government subsidies. Please grow a conscience and listen to your customers.

It will now take so much longer to do commute. Why not reinstate reduced service to cater for work commuters

This is an outrage every summer. The fact the 72 route was changed so it doesn't go up Whiteladies road already means I have to get one bus to town and then the uwe bus in. Now over summer I'll have to get 2 buses still but the second will take a seriously long time. Going to have to leave more than my current 2 hours I already allow to get in. Absolutely ridiculous.

Very short sighted to do this - please reconsider

I use this bus every week day to get between UWE and the city centre. Outside of term time I have to get a bus which takes 4 times as long, meaning I have to leave work earlier (try explaining that to your boss) or completely change my evening plans because I can't get to where I need to on time. There are lots of people on the 48a who get on in town and stay on until UWE. It isn't just undergrad students who rely on It!

This is really silly. Tory style cuts to a bus service. Unbelievable.

Please run at least a limited service during peak hours.
