As an admin for a group, I don't want to delete a whole post because it's good for history, but I do want to hide it from gathering dust. We need a feature to sweep them under the rug from time to time.

A good way to keep people engaged oand on the page while hiding the odd potentially offensive post because it may offend others or isn't completely relevant to the group's purpose. Then admin don't have to be policeman and aren't the subject of resent and anger.

I am a new admin at one of the FB groups and I get frustrated at all the clutter there is. I was thinking, boy it would be nice to be able to HIDE posts. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that admins used to be able to do this but your removed this ability. Why in the world would you do that? Please bring it back.

Can not for the life of me figure out why a "ADMIN" can delete but not remove a post, so many different reason and scenarios this is needed. Crazy, come on facebook !

I am the Admin of several Facebook groups, and I would love to have the HIDE feature back...deleting a group member's posts isn't always warranted and seems harsh. But there are a lot of times when something mildly inappropriate should at least be hidden without having to totally delete and upset the member.

Great idea! Bring it back. Not everyone needs to see what you've uploaded as an admin member and confuses people when you just want to replace a file.

I would like to Hide Posts, the uploading of files makes the page really messy, and distracts from the posts we are trying to have people view.

Provide a HIDE POST feature for groups (or allow me to edit privacy to ONLY ME). Don't want to delete!

Facebook needs to know their users' pros and cons before changing anything. Hide feature was a good feature tbh
