Most Facebook group "Admins" make daily use of the "Hide" feature that was until last week, available to us.
We have learned today, (8.2.16) that this feature has now been disabled by FB and is No Longer available for GROUPS.
Like many or all other Group Admins, I am disappointed with this action as we use it on a "Daily" basis in order to keep our group walls tidy and in good order.
It's comparable to a vacuum cleaner for any group admin and allows us to keep things tidy without "Deletion"
We strongly ask Facebook to "Reinstate" this function to our groups and permit us to continue to keep them clear and functional for group members and avoid this tangled mess and untidy group walls, that some or most of us are experiencing without the "Hide" feature,
There seems to be a "Few" upset admins and general "Group Members" and I hope they continue adding support to this petition with "their" own reasons for asking for this feature to be returned.
Please add "Your" views on the recent change to any groups you either "Admin on or are a member of"
Come on Facebook... Bring back the "HIDE" feature to our "GROUPS" please...

I leveraged this feature daily to keep my group productive and happy. No I'm limited to deletion, but we don't want to necessarily do that. I usually used it when a negative disucssion was dominating the group to allow those taking part to continue but not derail the rest of the group!
What is the point of being a group admin if you can't hide posts? I have a multiple poster on the same subject that I do not want to alienate either by blocking the posts or deleting them. As it stands the posts are dominating everything.
You have taken away the "hide feature in the groups - why would you do that - site are a mess - I am an admin for Bid War heaven which is an auction site & it it very important to have a clean site so that the upcoming auctions are better seen - please add this feature back in. Thank you
The Hide feature is invaluable to our Group Page. Without the Hide function the page gets clogged with older posts, but by deleting them, those photo posts are also deleted from our Albums! Please reinstate this feature. Thank you!
My groups are in shambles as people post things to the wall and then when they are pending sale, we would hide them until they were paid for. Now people can't see what's actually available because of the cluttered wall. People are missing sales!! We need the hide feature!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please bring back the hide function in group. At least when if group admin could "hide" it it remained in the album or original post, it just didn't clutter up the group wall with multiple random separate posts. We want it back!

Please reinstate the "Hide post" function. We regularly get abusive or libellous posts, which we want to hide, but sometimes the perpetrators deny posting them so we still need to be able to refer to the posts and can't do that if they have been deleted, but can uf they are hidden.
