"Facebook" Please reinstate the "Hide" feature in Facebook Groups !!!!!

Difficult to manage groups for cancer patients if you can't occasionally hide a post. Cancer patients join the group to get support and don't need a smack down from the group admin who deletes their occasionally oversharing post. Don't want to delete the user to delete, don't want to delete their post, just want to allow them to post and when i receive feedback from the group that this is a little over the top, hide the post from others.

Please bring back the hide feature on Facebook's Group pages. Thank you!

Facebook, stop trying to control everything, why do you prevent us from managing our pages the way we'd like to!

Hide feature is needed to maintain the group page. Do people need to see I changed the cover photo as a seperate group post ? no....

In order to keep decorum in a group, it is often helpful to hide inflammatory comments rather than risk upsetting the poster by deletion. While this may be regarded as a form of 'editing' or even impinging on 'freedom of speech', as 'admins' we are in fact, effectively 'editors' of the information that is presented. As such, we should be able to exercise that right in any way we choose (ie EITHER hide or delete)

Yes, ability to hide a post is an important tool in the hands of the admin of a group to better administer the group. I support the request for reinstating the "Hide" feature.

Facebook won't listen, and will not bring back the /Hide/ button, I bet :( It's now September 2017, and as Admin of a group, I /still/ cannot hide posts :( No replies when I report a problem :( Facebook powers that be, don't give a s**t what its users want and need. I wait for the day when a rival social media wipes the floor with them. I hope the day comes when Facebook has no members left! Mark *uckerberg is an arrogant sod! What good is it to be an Admin if I can't hide a post? Odd that I can still delete. What is FB's purpose to eliminate the Hide option? Please bring it back!

Please bring back the hide feature - it's sucks to have to upload the picture again and again just to delete the comments.

Hide was the best way to calm things down when someone has posted something that does not belong in the group.

Please reinstate the ability for admins to delete old posts on our group Walls. Wall keeps getting more cluttered overtime I change a setting, and the trail of setting changes make the wall far too long and cluttered.

Anyone should be able to hide a post they don't want to see. It doesn't mean others can't still see it. I just don't want to see certain things.
