I listen to CKOC online from Newfoundland, and, I have enjoyed Ray's personality and charm for a couple of users now. I have missed him online and was wondering where he was. I will not be listening online anymore, until you bring him back !
Bell Media did exactly the same here at Kfun Radio in Waterloo. They let go some 4 hosts and changed the format. Bell is all about the bottom line. While executives at Bell line their collective pockets they have no idea what goes on in radio broadcasting. These two stations are only the beginning.
How can you just dismiss someone who had such a great voice and sense of humor. What could you possibly be looking for if he's not it? Another reason that Bell should not have been approved for this purchase.
I wrote letters years ago when Ray was doing just the weekends, encouraging CKOC to hire him full time as his audience was always so entertained by him. Now I'll be writing to have him return again.
I have discontinued listening to CKOC since the release of my friend Ray Michaels. I have been a fan of the station since I was a kid and even more since Ray joined the team. He needs to he reinstated. We need him. He is the bright spot in our afternoon!

Just back from Florida. As soon as we crossed the border we put on CKOC to listen to our good friend Rockin Ray Michaels. He wasn't there. Did a search to find he is not there anymore. Add another fan who won't listen to CKOC again.
