WE, the undersigned, will no longer support CTV Ottawa and CTV 2 as it is of our opinion that there is no competent Senior Management. The path that it has taken in laying off so many outstanding hosts and broadcasters has angered the majority of the viewing area of CTV Ottawa and CTV 2. Many have already stopped watching those 2 stations.
THEREFORE, your petitioners request the re-instatement of Corey Ginther as Weekend Sports Broadcaster for CTV Ottawa. We call on you to consider this petition very serious as we see no other option but to boycott your station and communicate to all advertisers of CTV Ottawa and CTV 2 that we will not support any advertisers by purchasing their services. We ask you Mr. Crull and Mr. Ashton to please investigate the wrongful dismissal of Corey Ginther and the management of this well loved TV station (previously known as CJOH TV).

Watching the sports desk without Corey feels hollow and wrong. I have been spending my evenings contacting local businesses to explain why we are pulling our support from the station until they bring him back.

Seeing this level of support reminds me why I started this fight because Corey deserves better than how he was treated by station management. The momentum behind this request is proof that we are not going to let them ignore our community any longer.

Nobody could tell the sports like Corey Ginther. You could just see his excitement in his face and his eyes literally sparkled
Corey Ginther always reported sports from an informed and knowledgeable point of view for both national and local enents. Can that be said of the current sports reporter.....
We were wondering where Corey, Eric etc were these days. Shame on Bell/ CTV for letting great people go. Give them back their jobs if they want them back.
I stopped watching the news all together. CTV just isnt the same anymore without the faces we actually grew up with.
Bring Corey back. He actually knew what he was talking about instead of just reading off a teleprompter like the rest of them.
Do not enjoy the sports anymore without Corey. He made it fun and entertaining
bring back corey as this new guy should be sent back to montreal.

CTV Ottawa has desecrated the former CJOH 13 .... it is all about money. But these leaches who have no brains should have studied and reviewed that CJOH 13 were the most who brought in revenues to CTV Ottawa. WE WERE #1 in Canadian Fortunes revenue. When Max Keeping died, the GM of CTV Ottawa Richard Gray made it is priority to fire all CJOH staff. Anyone that one kiss his ass he would hire and keep like Matt Skube and Patricia Boles. Comes Christmas time and remember all the wonderful programs (Regional Contact, and stories from the Valley) makes us all cry with Richard Gray killing it all.
