The goal of this petition is to impress upon the CBC, how their listeners from coast to coast want them to renew Randy Backman's Vinyl Tap at the end of the contract this year.
Millions of Canadians have been enjoying Randy's Vinyl Tap's two hours of music and stories for over 15 years. Vinyl Tap airs on CBC Radio 1 Saturdays at 7pm & CBC Radio 2 Sundays at 6pm.
Randy has mentioned his interest in continuing with the show beyond 2021 and few radio programs appeal to such a wide audience demographic delivering first rate entertainment across Canada.

I love Randy’s Vinyl Tap! I’ve listened to it for nearly 2 decades. I will be very disappointed if the program goes off the air. Please renew Randy Bachman’s contract with the CBC
Each & every show is filled with great music & fascinating stories about them, the artists, the events. Randy Bachman's the perfect host as he appeals to an audience of all ages.
CBC Needs to listen to it’s listeners. I have no doubt that CBC has received thousands of requests to keep Randy’s vinyl tap on air! After all CBC is funded entirely by the people that are requesting to keep vinyl tap on air!
One of the few enjoyable music programs on CBC. Other CBC shows are limited to snippets of a song, or eccentric odd-ball music --- worth having, but not at the exclusion of popular music.
If Randy wants to continue I’m all for it
