UPDATE: Mr. Price was terminated from his position today. I am lost for words. How am I going to explain this to my daughter.
I am a concerned parent collecting names in support of Mr. Woodrow Price. Mr. Price is my daughter's teacher that goes above the call of duty. He is dedicated to Claiborne County. Look at all the things he has done. We need him in the classroom.
Some highlights:
He served as role model and motivator for many students.
Host a prayer line for Claiborne County School District every morning.
Wrote a $5000 grant so we could have a community converation.
Had over $16000 in books donates to elementary school.
Help to create a outdoor reading area for elementary school.
This list can go on and on. Mr. Price should be in a classroom, and not sitting at home.

im honestly blown away seeing 100 of you jump on board for mr price so quickly. it really shows how much he means to this community and i cant thank you enough for backing him.

Mr. Price, you lead by example. A deaf ear is turned to things going on the this school system. The child involved has a lengthy record with the police and school. Some teachers want to stage a walk out, but we know we will be retaliated against. Nobody hears our cry.
I've worked alongside Mr. Price at Saturday Science Academy and I can personally say he's an educator that we need in the school system. Getting rid of him is doing nothing but hindering the students And the school district from reaching their max potential!!!!!!
Mr. Price is an Amazing teacher and the Best they have at that school BRING HIM BACK! I'm so glad this happened at the end of the year because I would've withdrawn my son from school behind this because Mr. Price is great at what he does! Our Boys need him at that school!!!!!!!!!
As a former middle school and high school English teacher, I understand what a difficult position Mr. Price was placed in. He has done wonderful things as an educator and mentor. He deserves to have his job back.
He deserves a second chance, he has been a great teacher demonstrating great qualities. We all lose our cool sometimes but God forgives us, I know Mr. Price regrets his actions & deeply apologizes for what took place. Find it in your hearts to forgive him. Wishing you the Best.

Good morning, I am a civil rights attorney from Baton Rouge, LA. I don't know if this young man has legal representation, I will like to render my services free of charge. Based on information I have read, he has a case, a BIG CASE. Do anyone know how to get in touch with him.
