We, the 2012 - 2013 IC families, were was shocked and very disappointed by the news that Mr. Devon Leera was terminated from the TLC program at Hunnewell Elementary School. Our children had the fortunate opportunity to develope positive, loving and respectful relationships with Mr. Leera. It was obvious that Mr. Leera was dedicated to our children and had a positive impact on IC as a whole. Mr. Leera has provided an upstanding example and proven himself to be a true role model for the students  at Hunnewell Elementary.

Students, Parents, Staff all have only positive feedback about their interactions with Mr. Leera . This is a great loss to the Hunnewell community; and it is our hope that taking a stand and expressing how we and our children feel about Mr. Leera's contribution to 1C, needed attention will be brought to this unfair termination, and this decision will be reversed.
