Monica really seemed to care about the restaurant. She was always dressed in theme (which everyone loved) with a smile on her face and happy to greet you.

I would like to express my strong support for Monica. She consistently demonstrated professionalism, kindness, and a genuine dedication to out community. Her hard work and positive presence did not go unnoticed, and her sudden dismissal has been deeply upsetting to many of us.
I respectfully request that the HOA reconsider this decision and reinstate her.

This situation is extremely upsetting. Monika has always been deeply committed to creating a positive and welcoming experience for everyone. She consistently went out of her way to ensure that each person felt valued and satisfied, and if anyone was not having an enjoyable experience, she took it upon herself to make it right.
Given her dedication and the impact she has had, I strongly believe she should be reinstated immediately. There should also be a clear path for recourse to address what has occurred.

Meeting also requested with Pulte and Hampton to understand why this was done. They were already short staffed and to do this ( right before was weekend nonetheless) seems so wrong.

Some words to integrate into the petition. They address the failure of Pulte to prevent such an incident: It is well understood that any appliance connected to a water line—whether a hot water dispenser, coffee machine, or similar equipment—carries an inherent risk of failure. Hoses can loosen, fittings can degrade, and connections can detach. These are not rare or unforeseeable events; they are known risks that should be anticipated in both the selection and installation of such equipment.
For that reason, it is reasonable to expect that those responsible for engineering oversight and installation planning would incorporate basic safeguards. One of the simplest and most cost-effective measures is the installation of a water detection or automatic shutoff system. The cost of such preventative technology is negligible when compared to the potential consequences: extensive water damage, prolonged facility downtime, costly remediation, and loss of revenue—not to mention disruption to residents.
Given these realities, it is deeply concerning that the response to this incident appears to be focused on personnel rather than on systemic oversight and risk management. Holding an individual accountable for what is, in essence, a foreseeable mechanical risk raises serious questions about fairness and proportionality.
The reported termination of a manager who has been a positive contributor to the amenities team and well-regarded within the community is particularly troubling. Decisions of this magnitude should reflect a balanced evaluation of responsibility, including whether appropriate preventative measures were in place from the outset.
This situation calls for thoughtful review—not only of the incident itself, but of the policies, planning, and safeguards that could prevent similar occurrences in the future. A constructive approach would prioritize accountability at the appropriate level, while preserving the trust and morale of a community

If the only reason she was let go was over the tea machine and flooding, then signed.

Monika was exceptional. It’s impossible these days to find descent workers, let alone a high performer. This is going to hurt our community.
