We have a cottage in Orillia. Please reinstate this sign. I miss seeing it.

I was just telling my kids how seeing this sign on the way to our cottage on Go Home Lake was a big deal when I was little. Sad that it's gone!

I totally agree. Canadian music has had as much if not more influence on the music industry and growth. Gordon is but yet another reminder of that.. please do not let his name be forgotten.

Do it!!! Get Gordon back on the signs for Orillia! Why is this even a question? Most places would be shouting to the world that they were the birth place of Gordon Lightfoot.. A sign recognizing Gordon's birth town would certainly make me want to stop and spend some time there. Recognize the treasure that he is and put his name back on the sign........PLEASE!

If I were an Orillian, I'd want the world to know that they're entering hallowed ground--Gordon Lightfoot's hometown. His music is a world wide treasure--show your pride!

Your HAVE GOT TO reinstate this moniker to a Canadian icon that has done nothing but build Canada up around the world an is such a proud Canadian. He signifies and represents who we all are as Canadians. You would be foolish to throw this great opportunity away to celebrate this great man
