A sign from my childhood. Growing up in Orillia in the 1970's and '80's "The Home of Gordon Lighfoot" is something I don't think I'll ever forget.

Gordie hung out at our Wenona Lodge with other players and those were wonderful days. Now we are both pretty old but we still remember.

If Uptergrove can have a sign which says "Summer home of Glen Gould" then Orillia can reinstate proudly that it is the home of Gordon Lightfoot! It's home-town PRIDE and whynot? My dad, my Aunt and my Mother-in-law all babysat him! ;)
