Such an important part of ensuring children get to the school safely. Please reconsider.

Keep the children safe on a fast and busy road

Walking to school is encouraged at council level and School level. Why then has an existing safety measure “the lollipop person” been removed. To facilitate safe walking to school this should be reinstated immediately.

A crossing is essential to avoid an accident just waiting to happen. Think of the children and be sensible please.

The road outside the School is so dangerous without the lollipop person especially as many of years 5&6 walk home on their own.

Council needs to review its decision. Their decision has put children at risk on this busy road.

This is crazy the school is on a busy bus route passing right outside the school. It's an accident waiting to happen. Please reinstate the crossing patrol.

What will it take to get it reinstated... a child knocked down or heaven forbid a fatality !! Protect our children/grandchildren ... where is the duty of care of this council

The children need support to cross the road safely in order to foster their independence and confidence - especially younger children. Drivers are more likely to see and to stop for a lolly pop man/lady than a child or parent attempting the cross the road with no signage.

The school is on a busy road and there is definitely a need for a lollypop man. Having done the job myself for 11 years on Heol y Deri, near Rhiwbina Primary School I understand how difficult it can be for parents/grandparents to cross safely with small children and sometimes added pushchairs. I collect my grandchildren from Llanishen Fach primary and understand the need for a crossing patrol. I hope the council will re-instate the position a.s.a. p.

I can’t believe that the council are putting our children’s life’s at risk without consultation or notice. Shame on them.

Dangerous road to cross with my kids going into and out of school. Just hope everyone keeps safe.

Without a crossing guard an accident is inevitable, it is as simple as that. Anyone who has crossed Heol Uchaf at school drop off/collection times when there hasn’t been a crossing guard present will know this. I know there are pressures on council budgets, but this is just reckless. Please reinstate a traffic guard ASAP.

Definitely need a safe crossing for Llanishen Fach School. I live on this road and know how busy it has become over recent years. Don’t want anything happening to the young children attending the school.
