It is becoming more and more dangerous outside school especially with parking on yellow lines.

This is a very difficult road to cross and to remove the patrol is madness.

It is so needed not only for the children but so many elderly people who live near the school.

I live on Heol Uchaf and it’s a busy through road for commuters and also a city bus route. There is definitely a need for a school crossing patrol to allow the children to safely enter school.

Might as well also ask for the one on Heol Llanishen Fach to be reinstated too, and to reopen the gate at the back of the school.

As a Registered Childminder, crossing multiple children is a challenge when the crossing patrol is in place, without one, it’s an accident waiting to happen - please consider that very few drivers seem to have the “time” to slow down, never mind stop for us! Thank you.

If this is not possible then that stretch of road needs to be reduced to 20mph and a zebra crossing / traffic lights at the entrance installed

A lollipop person is an absolute necessity on Heol Uchaf outside Llanishen Fach Primary school. The road has heavy vehicle traffic and parking around the school at both morning and afternoon peak times. The road is also a city bus route and often parking becomes very obstructive, pedestrians cannot cross safely due to restricted visability around vehicles and drivers are not able to see pedestrians around the parked vehicles. The focus of a lollipop person makes all road users aware that children, parents with small children and pushchairs are trying to cross the road at a specific point and priority is given to them during these busy times. Please review the decision and reinstate a lollipop person at this location for safety of all road users. Thank you

I cannot believe that this decision has been made ? There isn’t even a zebra crossing there. That road is busy !

The safety of children is paramount. Traffic outside schools can be so dangerous. Please reconsider.

At school time the traffic on Heol Uchaf is awful at school times. The lollipop person(man or woman) is so helpful, not just for parents at the school but also for other people crossing..

A new traffic controller needs to be reinstated as a matter of urgency. Our children’s safety is the most important issue here. We have been informed someone was nearly hit this morning before school!
