Reinstate a School Crossing Patrol Officer outside Llanishen Fach Primary School

This is a much needed resource that we simply cannot lose, its children’s safety at risks as this is a busy road

A petition that shouldn't need signing because we shouldn't have to go through it in the first place! How ridiculous that the safety of young children has not been considered her. Not at all happy that my own child feels unsafe when crossing Heol Uchuf.

I would like to know who did the risk assessment before this decision was made?

Please reinstate our lollipop service on a busy road containing several bus routes. I fear for the safety of my child.

The petition says to reinstate a crossing patrol officer on Heol Llanishen Fach but the patrol has been taken away from Heol Uchaf. So is the petition for a new patrol on HLF or to reinstate the one that was previously on Heol Uchaf? There’s definitely a need for one on Heol Uchaf right outside the school gate where there is no zebra crossing, but there is a zebra crossing on HLF.

One only has to be outside this school when the school is opening or closing to see that IT IS ESSENTIAL that a school crossing patrol is there. It will only be a matter of time before an accident happens.

I can still remember when we had a crossing patrol on Heol Llanishen Fach. If governments (local and national) want to encourage children out of cars and on to their feet, at least make it as safe as possible for them to do so. Heol Uchaf is a very busy road.

The crossing patrol is vital outside Llanishen Fach Primary School. The volume of children/parents going to and from the school using the crossing is enough to reinstate it.

My 3 grandchildren go to Llanishen face, please re-instate crossing patrol,as this is needed for safety of the chidren

Not only needed for safety but the social side for the children and the individual. Please reconsider stopping this essential community service.
