The feedback regarding trail maintenance and balance on our local paths continues to grow. I am currently compiling the experiences shared here to present them formally to the forestry department regarding the recent staffing changes. Our goal remains the restoration of equitable trail management for all recreational user groups.

The momentum generated by this petition demonstrates the deep appreciation our community holds for the expertise Rick Higgens provided over the last two decades. It is encouraging to see this level of interest in restoring a balanced approach to the management of our trail system.

Total BS. He built half these trails. Show some respect to the guy who put in the sweat equity.
Rick did 20 years of good work. Now it is all gone to hell. Bring him back immediately.
The trails have gone downhill ever since he left. He actually cares about the layout and the riders. Get Rick back on the job!
Rick knows these trails better than anyone. It is a joke that he got pushed out. Bring him back.
Ridiculous politics. Rick is a legend around here. MTB riders and motos should be able to share the space. Fix this.

We need Rick back in charge of the system. Everything was balanced until the MTB guys took over. Tired of this.
