Surprisingly enough, Regis High School has never established a Model UN club for its students. That is why William Lurz and I have decided to begin it ourselves. The following steps provide a brief yet complete summation of what we wish to accomplish through this club:

1. Each year we will begin by dedicating whatever time is necessary to instruct members on how Model UN works.

2. Weekly meetings with alternating objectives: an introduction to the topics followed by a conference the next week.

3. Eventual participation in travel MUN conferences.

Please keep in mind that this club will not require strict attendance, unlike the Hearn. In fact, we will acknowledge the membership of any student as long as they sign up. We will eventually construct a more competitive front through the tournaments outside of Regis, but do not feel pressure to attend. This option exists solely to meet all ends of the student demographic.

Loyal membership will be rewarded.
