A teacher, a coach, a mentor, and a friend to all, the unjust firing of Gregory Knowles has left the Gonzaga student body shocked and disappointed in the school administration. Greg Knowles was a teacher of 15+ years, who's dedication to teaching and enthusiasm in the classroom will go unmatched. He encouraged students to try there best; not only teaching chemistry, but acting as a mentor turning boys into men. Whether it was his comical baseball stories, or his teaching of sig figs, he always managed to bring a smile to your face every day. Don't let a sports related issue plague the career of the one of the most dedicated and sincere teachers Gonzaga has ever had. I call on the student body to stand against this poor judgement by the school administration, and hope that Greg Knowles will be reinstated. Sign if you agree!

I have been reading through the memories you are posting about Mr. Knowles and they remind me exactly why we cannot let this go. His impact on our classrooms and our lives is too important to be ignored by the administration. I am still pushing for a conversation with the people in charge because we deserve real answers about what happened to him.

Seeing this level of support for Mr. Knowles is overwhelming because he truly changed my life during my time in his chemistry class. The momentum building behind his reinstatement shows how much he meant to all of us.

I love this man. One of the best people I've met at Gonzaga, and a high class teacher. Always had a smile on his face, and made me enjoy science class. I care about him a lot, and his termination has made me hate school a little extra. If every teacher was fired for a little mistake, or losing their cool, then their wouldn't be a corps of teacher to fall back on. #freeknowles
Mr + Coach Knowles is one of the greatest most well rounded person you will ever talk to at Gonzaga. He cares about every one at the school and wishes nothing but the best. He is also one of the smartest teachers who knows exactly what to do in the classroom. It's a shake that Gonzaga would let such a man go.
I am a student at his new school, I am not sure what happened, but he deserves justice
This man is a scholar and a great athlete. I miss him dearly and hope he finds work else where.

I was his for 2 years. Great Guy. Definitely deserves to be reinstated, he is a great teacher and deserves a spot in the school. Knowles is the man.
