To reduce the taxation burden in terms of licensing and fees on small youth business, we present this petition with a view to

- institute that small youth owned business pay half the rates in fees and levies due to the County Government across business sectors

- To Qualify, the business must

a, be FULLY Youth owned and operated

b, make turnover of not over Kes 50,000 in a month

C, must have less than 5 employees.

This spirit of this petition is to drive growth in the lower cadres of industry by reducing cost of setting up business.

The youth are just starting out. They should not be burdened by unrealistic levies and fees. Making it easy for more of our youth to engage in genuine and productive IGA's is more beneficial in the long term for both the community and government than it is with chasing a tax or revenue target.

I think it is a high time we supported our youth by helping them make genuine and honest living.
