City of Redlands leaders have been harassing a mom-and-pop, minority, and female co-owned, local small business — attempting to end their lease unlawfully & take their building(s) under an eminent domain style of taking — all with lack of transparency and accountability!

Over twenty years ago Gil Brown and his wife Carol, along with Jerjes and Evangelina Saliba, started Coyote Aviation at the Redlands Municipal Airport. They built their business from the ground up, literally!
Now, Assistant City Manager Chris Boatman and the Redlands City Council are trying to RUIN this family-owned business in a taking of their property to line city coffers during an economic downturn.
Government leaders should be accountable and transparent — not be tricking, manipulating, nor using deception to take from their citizens!
Stop these abusive, bullying, and deceptive tactics - Sign the Petition today.
City of Redlands leaders do not represent the citizens who value local businesses, family businesses, and hard work.
Adding insult to injury, these officials are now gaslighting the Browns — stating that they must vacate the small business they have built from scratch, or else face eviction. This has caused the family undue emotional stress, business disruption, and exorbitant legal fees to fight the city not once, not twice, but numerous times in an ongoing legal battle.

Cities must prioritize transparency and exercise power justly. The City of Redlands has done neither. Attempting to seize property through trickery and legal technicalities to secure financial benefit is sickening and cowardly. A crime against one citizen is a crime against all citizens.
Pilot, aircraft owner @ KREI, and prior Redlands businessman. Shame on you Redlands for your conscious decision to harass a tax-paying Redlands business! Future businesses and leaders like myself will not forget how you've mistreated Coyote Aviation.
I won't be starting my buisness in Redlands because of this. I never heard from any buisness owners in Redlands being treated well by those currently running things. I will be voting and I will make my buisness in another city. Over 30 years in Redlands and I am ashamed of my city.
The City of Redlands want o increase its revenue by taking Coyote Aviation hangars form them. It seems clear to me that they planned to this since 2019. This is wrong. Shame on the City! What other businesses will they want to acquire to make money on the backs fo its citizens if this is allowed?
This petition, submitted in behalf of coyote investors, empathically identifies a critical lease date that was in error. We had invested our life savings in the Hangar complex trusting the City to do the right thing.
The Browns and Salibas have documented this case so well, while any comments from the City of Redlands are consistently misleading, or downright untrue. I believe that Boatman and Barich have missed Redlands City Council, to the point they voted on this matter without even knowing the full history of events between Coyote and city management. Please support Coyote Aviation!

I used to live in Redlands and the impact Gil Brown has had as an educator as well as the Coyote Aviation program have been profoundly positive and immense. To take away that impact would leave a huge scar for the Redlands community.
