The Browns and Salibas have documented this case so well, while any comments from the City of Redlands are consistently misleading, or downright untrue. I believe that Boatman and Barich have missed Redlands City Council, to the point they voted on this matter without even knowing the full history of events between Coyote and city management. You need to make things right at Redlands Airport with Coyote Aviation. Stop taking from our citizens, your staff ok'd and extension of lease. Yet your staff hids that from you in attempt to hide their failures.

I lived in Redlands for 30 years. I've seen dozens of small businesses flourish. The shortsighted, self-serving actions of the current administration have completely undermined the efforts of their predecessors to cultivate a vibrant and successful city. Decades of laying the groundwork in good-faith to allow small businesses to succeed have been thrown away for the ego-politics of a small cadre of petulant elites. Barich's actions disgust me and he should be ashamed of himself. Unfortunately, narcissistic sociopaths like him are incapable of feeling that emotion. All he cares for is strongarming himself into another term. The people of Redlands have a civic duty to make sure that doesn't happen!

Had me in court 7 times...tried eminent domain with Aamco...ended up paying Aamco big $$...our tax $$$

Keep Coyote Aviation! A Redlands small business!

To the city council, I respect your position and understand sometimes these decisions can be complex. I've been in your shoes, such as threating eminent domain to acquire the last part of land to build Citrus Valley High School. There are solutions that work for both sides. The optics of this are not good in the way the city is treating a small business owner. Yes, not all businesses are going to be treated equally, but the Brown family and the history they have with our community and flying should merit better treatment than this. Gil was our son's 5th grade teacher, and Ty like many others were able to experience flying due to Gil's generosity for all his students. He was a HIGHLY respected teacher and combined his passion of flying to lessons in the classroom. There has to be a better solution for this.

I see this Eminent Domain takeover in my city of Ontario for a "project" that is unnecessary & has forced some long-time businesses out of business altogether.

Time to stop these crooks and vote them out of office. Redlands city council is not for the citizens

The actions of the City of Redlands government are deeply disappointing. I'm shocked that these government workers are willing to cause so much lack of trust, ill will, divisiveness, and harm to the city's reputation. Do they not realize the effect this will have on other small business owners who are considering locating in Redlands? Coyote Aviation has been a positive force in the city for years, due completely to the commitment of the Browns and Salibas. I support Coyote Aviation's battle against the city, and I will honestly never feel the same about my former hometown again after this.
