This Pledge to Support aims to raise awareness on the issue of the lack of residential recycling services in the City of Altus, Oklahoma and to recruit support for a citywide residential recycling service.If you are a resident of the City of Altus, Oklahoma, please considering supporting this cause. Pledges may be submitted to the City of Altus, City Council for awareness and consideration purposes.

Due to the lack of recycling services provided to the residents of Altus, recyclables such as paper, plastics, glass and aluminum are being placed in the city landfill. Recycling is essential to the well-being of our nation's environment, economy, and political independence.
