Federal Government's decision to overturn P3 Canada's approval of four recreation centres in Calgary.
If you are one of the hundreds of thousands of Calgarian's who are dismayed at the recent decision by the Federal Government to deny funding for the four recreation centres that had been approved by P3 Canada, we ask for your support in one of many ways.
We have created an on-line petition that will be sent to each Calgary based Member of Parliament including Prime Minister Stephen Harper, to voice our opposition to the abuse of political power that saw the decision of P3 Canada overturned.
Please sign the petition and include any comments you may want to pass on to those that have chosen not to support the constituents who elected them to office this year.

The federal government thinks they can pull the rug out from under our community projects and just move on. We are about to hit one thousand signatures and I need you to drag this link onto the pages of every person you know so Ottawa realizes they cannot ignore our city.

We just hit our first hundred signatures against this blatant political betrayal. The federal government thinks they can pull the rug out from under our communities without consequences, but this shows they are wrong.

Please rethink this. If you have a kid or kids in hockey you will know that there is a great need, if you do not have a kid or kids in hockey, please show some empathy to those of us that do.
my kids have nowhere to play winters are long enough as it is. fix this government
We really need these centers open. Please reconsider the decision because it hurts our local hockey families so much.
This is just ridiculous. Calgary needs these facilities for the youth and families. Stop playing politics with our rec centers.
UNBELIEVABLE. You cant just promise funding and then pull it at the last minute. This hurts the whole community.
