I have a meeting with Dean Wooten on Tuesday, March 29th about getting class lectures recorded.
We are at a major disadvantage in terms of access to information compared to our peers in other schools. Lecture recordings would be a great study aid as most class slides are rather incomplete.
Given that participation is weighted at 10% of our total grade, this would not discourage going to class. I am pushing for better educated business students and getting the value we pay for through our tuition!

Great idea. Our tuition is way too high to not have this simple resource available for review.
This wouldn't deter attendance because participation is such a big part of our grade, and attendance could still be mandatory, but this way studying will be much easier.
I wish we had this already! I am currently sick and I was told to not go to class, but I am powering through because I don't want to miss the extra value I get from class time. Would love to see this happen so I could rest and get better soon.
This would be especially useful when studying for exams. Its on thing to have notes from class, but it helps greatly to hear the professor explain it again.
My poor little hand can’t write down notes fast enough without cramping up. When I could take notes on my laptop, this wasn’t a problem ...

Honestly it is so hard to keep up with the professor when they talk fast. Having the recordings would be a life saver for midterms.
