This man, this band and their music has been the soundtrack to our soul and is connected to every moment of joy of the black experience. Every party, every family reunion, every road trip we listened to this music. He deserves a place right up there with Michael Jackson and Prince. Incredible musicians, beautiful songs about love, joy and yes pain. The live album in New Orleans goes down as one of the greatest live albums of all time. Put them in, it way past time.
Please give this honor to frankie and Maze who sells out every venue since forever while frankie is still alive please
I’m really offended that these institutions hasn’t recognized the greatest band in the world. I’m just 27, and I have grown up with this music my whole life. Mind you these songs are years older than I. Really offended.!
This group is iconic and legendary and has influenced music to a degree yet to be revealed!
Thank you who ever came with this idea to support Maze. This pure R&B group has been so unrated in music history. I've been a fan of Maze since a little girl. when I first saw this group in person the tears streamed down my face. Their music fills you heart with unknown love. And still after 30 plus years no respect from the music industry. It's time as loyal fan's. To stand behind our favorite group of all times Maze feat Frankie Beverly. Hall of Fame is their rightful home too. Nobody does it better then Maze a true Iconic Legend.

True, decades long artistry like theirs deserves recognition. DESERVED, past tense...it's insulting long overdue.
