Parent's and teacher's want the Elgin Local School Board to remove Superintendent Douglas Ute, contending his leadership has destroyed morale and created an environment where "blatant favoritism" reigns. An environment has been created in the school district that is not conducive to the fulfillment of its mission. Superintendent Ute, has been proved fiscally irresponsible, and has made poor choices during his leadership. The Elgin community is taking action to regain the strength and promise our school has lossed. We will not let our education suffer. We will combine to override these flaws that Doug Ute has brought within our district. We therefore request Elgin Local School Board take immediate action to remove Superintendent Douglas Ute from his current position.
