The judge totally ignored whats wrong with the ex and his annoying gf. The judge should look into things more.

In our case with Unger the letter written by our 14 year old child asking to go to a better school than her father wanted her was never read or considered. Facts proving that the school was a better option was not considered. The mother gave permission for Unger to interview our child but the father refused so Unger went with the fathers wishes. A letter written by the father stated that our child should be punished for the way it was handled by not letting her go to the better school and Unger upheld stepmothers wishes and forced our child to go to a school that was rated considerably less than the one we were trying to get her into. In my opinion the dishonorable judge Unger only holds up her wishes and not what is in the best interests of the child. I feel if a person cant be impartial and sit on a jury then how can we have judges that cant be impartial. Remove her and retry all her cases.

Children need to be protected!! If the evidence says one parent is not taking care of the child and is abusing and neglecting the child then obviously the other parent should get the children. Why would a judge let an abusive parent keep a child! That's terrible!!

Following the law doesn't seem to be a priority in the Solano County judicial system. You can check it out on www.robes.com. There is a second attempt to recall one judge on going right now. The children are suffering!

Went to court with my fiance to witness the same accusations as expressed in this petition. Judge granted 50% custody to a mom who had several police calls to house while the kids were there, missed several days of school, drug use and even child protective services went to there house to do a walk through and investigate and was threatened for her life and proof of marijuana growing in back yard. We had a lawyer and spent over $5,000 for the judge to ger upset and basically saying there is no reason for him to have full custody ans pretty much forced an agreement on 50%. They are suppose to help make kids have a better and safe home environment. Not keep them in a place surrounded where drugs and violence are. I believe he told us it is our job to just teach our children whats right and wrong. Most kids who grow up in an environment like that, end up turning out the same. If these judges hate there jobs where they don't want to really care for these children and there best interest, than maybe they should quite, instead of screwing up families and wasting peoples money for lawyers that are the good parents and want nothing but the best for there children. Not all parents are bad and i do believe since he was the "dad" fighting for full custody, it was declined. So many judge by gender when that shouldn't matter if in all honesty you were the better household. When i have talked to other people who had similar stories in other counties, they will all tell me how the courts favored the right parent and actually listen to all accusations and investigated. It is a known fact that solano county has a horrible reputation. I watched a great hard working dad lose a case that should have been granted and instead these two kids are still with there mom half the time.

I have witness first hand the unlawful decisions and the ignoring of facts given to these judges, and the heartache caused by their unconcern for the truth and welfare of the children. I think something very suspicious is occurring in the Family Law Division in Solano County and the State needs to step in and do some investigating.

I so agree on this. I myself have witnessed 2 family members go through the court system and have so much documentation on other parent to prove unfit yet the judge don't see or hear any of it. They say it's irrelevant. However when something is going on with the other parent and your child the police and everyone tells you to document and take pictures. What good is this if these judges won't take the time to look or hear about it and just favor one side NOT what's best for the child.

Amazing how these type of people get put into these positions of power. It is these type of judges and people that create a bad name for the justice system. Cops often get a bad wrap for physicaly abusing their authority but the mental and life long injustices that these judges cause in families is often more harmful and life altering then a lot cop brutality(not saying thats okay just making comparisons). Im not sure how they sleep at night.

Gary Ichikawa should be removed from the bench. He has bias opinions. He leans toward the parent that is not willing to take car of the child. If you are a drug addict felon he is all for you.

These judges are suppose to do what's best for the child, not what's best for this parents who does absolutely nothing, in and out of jail, abusive, pop up , in and out the child's life when they get ready. When something happens to these children we should be able to come after and sue these judges for putting these kids in danger

This is UNEXCEPTABLE behavior for someone who took an oath to be fair and impartial is suppose to PROTECT our children. Doesn't the scale of justice have a blind fold on? I don't think it was meant to be blind to the obvious....
