RBS CANNOT close our local branch in Stenhousemuir, Falkirk
The local community use this Bank on a daily basis.
There are multiple care homes for the disabled, the elderly and vulnerable, some of these people cannot write their names never mind use a Card.
Branch Staff know these people and how they cope with their disabilities.
It will be a life changing for them if they now must travel further for their Banking.
Disabled Access
People come from outwith area due to the free parking and disabled access to the Bank
The area is flat, is very easy for people with wheel chair access.
Developing Area
The area is still growing, it is no longer a village.
The Town is ever growing due to the new developments in Kinnaird Village.
Local
The local Schools
Churches
Businesses: Doctors Surgeries, Dental Practice Hairdressers, Bakers, Butchers, Taxi firms and small/medium sized businesses all rely on our local branch.
Major Hospital
Due to the opening of the Royal Forth Valley Hospital, people want to come to Larbert for work.
Massive Area
Stenhousemuir branch is always busy, leaving the branch with 3 positions to service is not just adequate.
Bonnybridge, Denny, Larbert, Stenhousemuir, Carron, Carronshore, Bainsford, Airth, Bo’ness, Camelon …..the list is endless!
We understand yes that many branches are not needed in this day and age, however this is a key and central branch in an excellent growing location.
Digital Banking? Agree yes, more people use this, however substantial number of Customers who need face to face service.
The Staff are
Professional, Dedicated, Caring, Hardworking, Friendly, Execute their duties with a touch of excellence.
They know and address customers by their names; something that is very rare now.
We care about our Community, the People, the Business, - the Bank is central and is very valuable to us. RBS cannot close Stenhousemuir Branch!

RBS executives think they can abandon Stenhousemuir without a fight but they clearly underestimate this community. I am hearing from residents every day about how this closure destroys their independence. We are currently preparing to take this directly to their front door because their silence is nothing but corporate cowardice.

I rely on this bank due to illness i don't drive can't travel in public transport so it's only a short walk away from my house,i use this bank every week ,we can't lose this branch to many people rely on it including myself
This has been my bank since I was a young lad. My parents and mother/father in law don't use digital or telephone banking and rely on a branch - one to one interaction! To remove this facility would be a sad day for stenhousemuir! the expectation that everyone can make it to the Falkirk branch is a huge assumption!
Absolute disgrace if this bank shuts. Use this branch on a regular basis and would be sad and angry to see it go. I don't have the time to go to Falkirk during my lunch break as it's always too busy and the parking is a nightmare. The staff in Stenhousemuir are always very pleasant and helpful and I can get parked with ease.
My elderly mother uses bank regularly and all tgevstaff know her. It's a disgrace expecting her to walk down to branch in Falkirk as she is unsteady on her feet and bank is quite inaccessible compared to walking on flat ground to access Stenhousemuir branch .
Service I work for use this bank daily. Over 30 residents many with learning disabilities now having to get a bus to Falkirk to just withdraw money to go to the local shops. The bank is always busy and the staff are really helpful
Will not be pleased if this bank closes . Dont understsnd rbs as this is such a busy branch . Will be taking my business elsewhere im afraid

It easy for me to get to and all the staff are very nice to us. Because I have learning difficulties I don't want to see it shut that means that I have to use the Falkirk bank.
