Harbor UCLA Medical Center violated my medical rights and are being allowed to get away with it. They ignored my requests as a mother and did not give myself or my baby the proper medical attention we deserved. It took 4 months of fighting to get my medical records, which they filled with thousands of blank wasted pages in 8 giant boxes. Once I sorted them all out I found out they left out vital information or in some cases parts were just completely inaccurate.

When I finally had enough and took my baby out of Harbor and to a new care facility. Their first time seeing my baby they decided to hospitalize him for 2 weeks and then they discharged him with 14 new diagnoses, one of them being an unexplained injury to my babies brain. Nehemiah today lives with 16 diagnoses as a total. I want answers from Harbor because they were ignoring my concerns on the exact same issues the new hospital admitted him for. I have had no success trying to speak with any of the physicians or nurses that handled my baby during the first 7 months of his life. They have me blacklisted from the Harbor UCLA Medical Center now because I keep asking for someone to answer for his poor medical care and explain this unexplained injury to his brain. They tell me it's no longer in their best interest to speak with me and it's not appropriate for me to ask them any questions.

I've received no help from every path I've taken. Through Patients Advocacy Dept, Administration Dept, city councilmen, the news, civil rights advocates and about 125 attorneys all no help. I'm now out here fighting for myself.

Please help me get answers from this hospital by signing my petition and standing with me against hospitals not living up to the standards of a medical professional. Please help me shine a light on my situation and countless others who suffer from poor medical treatment, particularly for lower income families. Help me put a stop to patient's concerns being ignored, medical findings being withheld and our rights as patients and parents to patients are stepped on and violated. Thank you for your support.

One thousand people have looked at what happened to Nehemiah and decided it was wrong. My hands are shaking as I type this because the exhaustion is heavy but knowing you are watching makes it impossible to quit.

The momentum behind this is beginning to feel real and that is a heavy weight to carry. I am exhausted by the silence from those in charge but seeing this level of backing proves I am not fighting alone. We keep going until someone finally looks me in the eye and tells the truth.

One hundred people have joined this fight. It has been exhausting to chase down answers alone when the hospital refuses to acknowledge what they did to Nehemiah. This milestone proves that I am not the only one who sees how wrong this is.

I've been watching y'all for a couple of years. I love you both and pray for your family. I pray that he will be paid for the rest of his life, and that he gets his home health care that he deserves and qualify for.

It is fraudulent not to provide answers on medical care. To document false information on any medical documents is against the law. For a hospital not to provide answers on medical care for a helpless baby is absolutely ridiculous improves that they are hiding something.

Justice for Nehemiah. Healthcare is broken. Do better for our families, if the Drs at UCLA can't own up to the mistakes they made, I could only assume they aren't in the profession for the right reasons. Do better Dr's.

Hope mama finally gets the answers & justice that she needs for her baby !!! No one deserves to go threw this especially so young & so innocent. Medical malpractice is a real thing man and coming from someone who never spoke up and different circumstances . She deserves justice ❤️
